Thoroughly rinse and drain the chickpeas using a strainer. In a separate bowl, combine with the tuna.
Take your cucumber and avocado and chop them into bite-size pieces. If needed, pluck the arugula into smaller bits. Now, dice your onion and slice the scallions into fine rings. Add everything to the bowl.
Create the dressing by combining the above specified ingredients using a fork or little whisk. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and combine well. Season to taste once more and adjust if necessary.

This recipe yields 4 slightly larger side servings or 6 somewhat smaller portions.
